A Few Changes at GIG Southcentral PA
We will now be sending newsworthy information as it occurs strictly by email instead of a quarterly newsletter. So it is important to keep us informed of any email changes you may have. Contact: Linda Weller at 717-520-9817.
2) Medical 101 Class
Instead of quarterly classes, we have decided to provide one-on-one direct telephone assistance through a Telephone Mentor Program. For assistance in living a healthy gluten-free lifestyle, understanding gluten intolerance, and to have your questions answered, please contact Linda Weller at 717-520-9817.
All education materials will still be available at regularly scheduled programs and are available on this national GIG website under “resources”.
3) Future Program Locations
All future programs will be held at the Giant Food Store Community Room in Camp Hill (3301 Trindle Road). There will still be opportunities for gluten-free tasting and samples.

Annual Holiday Luncheon & Cookie Exchange

Time to begin thinking about COOKIES! That’s right, it’s almost time for the Annual Holiday Luncheon and Cookie Exchange. This is one of the most popular events because participants only need to bake one type of cookie and go home with almost 20 different cookie recipes and cookies. It is great to have a variety of delicious cookies for the holidays — if they last that long!
You might want to Christmas shop first and then meet up at Piazza Sorrento for a special holiday tradition of fellowship, a delicious gluten-free meal, and our cookie exchange.

What to bring with you for the cookie exchange:
– Pre-wrap 3 to 4 gluten free cookies in small plastic baggies or you can wrap them in a more creative holiday wrap.
– One baggie of cookies for each participant.
– A sufficient quantity of your cookie recipe copies to share with others.
