The Gluten Intolerance Group of Richmond is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The Mission of GIG is to empower the gluten-free community through consumer support, advocacy and education.
Our meetings are held quarterly (March, June, September and December) on the first Thursday of the month at 7PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Avenue, Richmond, VA 23229. Meeting date and time may be changed to meet the availability of the speakers invited. Dinerthons and other social events will be held in addition to quarterly meetings.

We are also pleased to have a visit from a dedicated gluten-free food truck, Harry’s Picnic Basket. Jamie Strat, who is a member of our group, and her husband Dino, have donated tastings for our group, created on their truck! As it travels to different to events, Harry’s Picnic Basket is praised for offering gluten-free food that tastes great! Jamie and Dino serve made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, treats, and hand-cut fries that put a smile on people’s faces!
We will be highlighting donated products from two GFCO Certified Food Companies:
