AUBURN, Wash. (April 6, 2017)—The Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG), the industry leader in the certification of gluten-free products and food services, announced today that 48 products were certified by its Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) program during March. Gluten-free certifications were awarded to 19 beverage, 16 food and 13 supplement products, showing the continued growth of gluten-free products across different categories. The products ranged from protein powder to cider to chips. The following is the list of gluten-free products certified by GFCO in March:
Products certified by GFCO carry the GF logo—an easily identified certification seal that provides consumer assurance that the product meets the strictest gluten-free standards. GFCO certifies, both, that a company’s processes and facilities meet GFCO’s standards, and also that the products produced meet a standard of 10 ppm-or-less gluten.
